Our first view of
Glacier Peak.
Washington was beautiful when we could see the views.
By now the snow and
cold had an impact on the plants. Fall color was showing up everywhere.
The
blueberries were bright red too. Other plants were showing some color also
.

track of the photographs Marcia is taking.
This is typical of the trails in Washington. The mountains were rugged, but
the trails were pretty good, even wet.
A view of Foam
Basin.
We ate lunch at Fire
Creek. This was a beautiful site, but it was so cold we couldn't stop long.
(No wonder we made so many miles per day.)
