When we got down to the Waptus River we were soaked. Then we broke a tent pole. But with a little duct tape we managed to get the tent up and stay warm. The next night we decided to bail out to Skykomish to dry out. We also needed to replace the tent pole and replace Ken's rain jacket.

Just as we thought
things were getting better the fog and rain moved in again.
The next day we got
snow at 5000 feet.
