When we hitched out of Sierra City, our driver asked where we wanted to go. We replied either the trailhead or Bassetts.

He replied "Bassetts it is."

We had these huge ice cream cones to power us up the Sierra Buttes!

We are still on the trail here.

This was typical of the trail before Belden. This was an old burn area with manzanita and rocks.
