We spent 3 weeks in Europe in 2001. We flew to Barcelona and spent a couple of days there seeing the old part of the city. Then we spent a week "barging" down the Canal du Midi. Finally we spent about a week in Tuscany in a rented villa outside of Siena. 

It was a great trip. The one hard part of the trip was wondering how we would get home after September 11.
