We drove up along San Francisco Bay from Coyote Hills to Oyster Bay. This park is just south of Oakland Airport and we saw a different kind of low flying "birds" here.
We found a bright clump of California Poppies next to the picnic area along the trail.
At the top of the hill was a sculpture named "The Wave". As we walked around it the image was constantly changing.
Near the end of our hike we lost the trail. After walking up and down the service road we discovered that a load of gravel had been dumped on the trail where it crossed the roadway. What should have been an obvious crossing was now obscured adding some excitement to an easy trail.
