Potential ADT hikers are asking us when they should start their hike. We think there are many variables involved in determining when to start your hike. Try entering your estimated hiking speed in miles per day and your start date. This spreadsheet will calculate your arrival in various cities across the country, both west and east bound. Notice that no zero days are included in the calculations so plan on sprinkling a few zero days into the calculated dates.
